INTERLINK Language Centers TVTC Technical Training Colleges Saudi Arabia EFL/ESL Site Directors for Men
Background For more than three decades, INTERLINK has been offering intensive English language training, academic preparation and cultural orientation to students, scholars and professionals from around the world. Now, INTERLINK has been awarded a contract by the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC) of Saudi Arabia, which oversees Colleges of Technology in the Kingdom, to prepare its graduates linguistically to function in the workplace (primarily offices) where they will be writing reports, keeping records, communicating with others by phone, email, text, and explaining their roles, activities, and rationale for decisions and actions to others. Training will take place at eight different Colleges of Technology in the Kingdom, during two 21-week semesters per year. The Branch Department Head will work to develop the program, supervise and support teachers, and oversee/manage (with assistants) the administrative workings of the local program. Because classes use a Course Management System (Claroline), the Department Head must be must be comfortable in and adept at using computers and online materials in order to introduce the system to his instructors and train them in the use of CMS. The Department Head reports to the Assistant Project Manager for Instructional Programs in the project’s central office in Riyadh. Because of the involvement in the creation of curricular elements, employment for the department head will begin as soon as the selection process is completed. Salary, Benefits and Termso $50,000 - $65,000 salary per annum
