APPLICATION PROCEDURE AND DEADLINES

The selection process is a two-way street; we believe it is vital that you know as much as possible about us, the program, our curriculum and approach, and the position, and that we know about you as a colleague in the field and about your values and philosophy as they relate to working in this profession. In other words, we must have shared values. Before submitting your resume, you must read this announcement fully and must learn about us as much as possible. After you have learned more about us and if you still think our institution is the right organization for you, then follow the application procedure exactly as outlined below. Those not meeting qualifications or not following the application procedures will not be acknowledged.

Because of the program’s continual growth and the fact that INTERLINK offers sessions at five different intervals during the year, faculty recruitment is on-going. Employment start dates are August, October, January, March and May.

To apply, please send your resume and a cover letter to [email protected]. In your letter, please

  1. Indicate that you have fully read this notice and have done some research on us.
  2. Provide a brief summary of your educational philosophy and your reasons for wanting to join INTERLINK.
  3. Indicate the dates of your availability (Aug, Oct., Jan., Mar., or May).

After we have received the above, we will send you specific questions for your comments and reaction. If your submissions indicate a good possible match with INTERLINK, we will ask you to dialogue by email with us about specific issues.  If that confirms our mutual interest and compatibility, we will then propose a conference call. A video showing your classroom teaching would be helpful, and, for the conference call, we strongly suggest a computer camera to let us see one another.

NB: Applicants either not meeting the qualifications listed above or not following the application procedures as outlined above will not be acknowledged. All qualified applicants will receive an acknowledgment and further information on the program and the selection process shortly. Also, please note that if you meet the qualifications but do not hear from us within a week, chances are that your correspondence has not reached us. We encourage you to double check with us by resending your letters and resumes.
